Role: Project Manager — Florida Youth At Risk (FYAR) | Mobile Stage Pros (MSP) · Part-Time, Remote · July 2025 – Present

Project Overview

I manage a donor-funded nonprofit project and a growing portfolio of programme and partnership initiatives designed to expand opportunities for youth through music, stage production, mentorship, live events and workforce development. FYAR serves young people aged 12–25, particularly underserved youth, by connecting them with creative learning, mentorship, real-world experiences and career pathways. I lead project delivery and partnership outreach for a distributed team, using Monday.com as the single source of truth for planning, tracking, and reporting.

My Role

Project Manager and Project Lead, accountable to the President and Vice President for the full delivery lifecycle — planning, board administration, team coordination, risk management, and executive reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Programme Management

Lead planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring and reporting for the MSP project, keeping activities, milestones, deliverables and workstreams aligned with programme objectives
Manage multiple concurrent MSP workstreams and portfolio initiatives, from research and planning through partnership development and implementation
Coordinate and supervise a team of Project Assistants, assigning responsibilities, monitoring progress, reviewing deliverables and providing ongoing guidance
Monitor project risks, dependencies, outstanding actions and delivery issues, and support mitigation strategies
Prepare project status reports, dashboards, presentations, briefing materials and programme updates for leadership
Coordinate meetings, agendas, decisions, action points and follow-ups across distributed teams
Administer and customise the Monday.com workspace: boards, dashboards, workflows, automations
Build and maintain governance documentation: Charter, WBS, Gantt Charts, RACI, Risk Register, Communication Plan, Stakeholder Register, status reports and SOPs

Partnerships, Outreach & Resource Mobilisation

Lead research and outreach to potential community partners, sponsors, donors, funding partners, event organizations and industry stakeholders to support FYAR's youth development objectives
